The focal point of the entry courtyard at the Japan Airlines Flight Training Facility is an at-grade water rill that increases in depth slightly at every other turn. At the end of the fountain, water falls into a below grade cistern that creates an ambient sound of falling water with no apparent source. The water way is finished with polished, Cambrian black granite and a continuous fiber optic light that makes the fountain glow in the evening.
