Klamath Neighborhood Park
Napa, Napa County

This neighborhood park was designed to give
nearby residents a green space and refuge from
the local traffic and noise along Highway 29. A
long, heavily planted screen mound flanks the
west side of the park and effectively buffers the
busy thoroughfare. Families and neighbors enjoy
the informal play field, the group picnic area,
children’s play area, and basketball court. A jogging
path circles the entire park and exits at the north
and south entries to connect to local streets. The
large deciduous shade trees give welcome relief
from the heat of the summer and provide beautiful
foliage color in the fall.
