Brian Powell is the owner and principal landscape architect at Brian Powell & Associates Landscape Architects. With over 30 years of experience, Brian has designed hundreds of local and multi-disiplinary public projects and is recognized for his creative problem solving, artful designs and thoughtful management. His innovative work is recognized in both public and private projects, from intimate residential gardens, public parks, and commercial ventures, to tidal and seasonal wetlands renovation.

Brian received a degree in Landscape Architecture from the Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and is a LEED accredited professional. He is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and has served as a Director of the ASLA/NCC Chapter and Past President of the California Council of the ASLA. Brian also serves on Board of Directors of at the San Rafael Rotary Manor, an affordable senior community.

In his spare time, you can find Brian riding his bike, golfing, playing his guitar and hiking the gorgeous trails of Marin.
