Oakgrove Apartments is a market rate housing
project built at the edge of an oak woodland. Large
Red Oak street trees and other oak-compatible
plantings integrate the project with its surroundings.
A community center with a 100’ long swimming pool
gives the residents a popular place to meet and
exercise. Plant materials throughout the site were
selected to create privacy, green spaces and shade
from the summer sun as well as for their resistance
to deer intrusion, drought and freeze conditions.
